Assembly Hall Theatre Tunbridge Wells returns to full capacity from 19th July. Tickets are now available for top comedians including Catherine Ryan, Jimmy Carr and John Bishop. Grab them while you can!
In line with the Government’s proposed roadmap and the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday, the Assembly Hall Theatre in our terrific town of Tunbridge Wells is preparing to lift restrictions from Monday 19 July. Face masks will no longer be mandatory and social distancing no longer essential inside the venue.
The lifting of restrictions means the theatre can return to full capacity (1,020 seats). This is great news for comedy lovers as more seats are released for the already largely sold-out comedy programme which includes:
- John Bishop
- Katherine Ryan
- Nina Conti
- Simon Amstell
- Jimmy Carr
- Kevin Bloody Wilson
- Henning Wehn
- Reginald D Hunter
- Nish Kumar
- Sarah Millican
- Jason Manford
- Paul Merton
More seats will also now be available for the theatre’s popular upcoming, big name spoken word shows such as Professor Brian Cox and Sir Ranulph Fiennes, as well as music shows such as Jools Holland’s two performances and the hugely popular Luther, as well as the returning panto collaboration with Evolution Productions, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.
The theatre bar will reopen and audiences will be able to make purchases at the bar, although the pre-ordering service will continue to be offered and is encouraged.
The theatre will also be urging all visitors to be safety conscious and, importantly, to be thoughtful regarding the safety of others. Although it is no longer a requirement the Assembly Hall Theatre team will be encouraging mask wearing and the friendly staff will be on hand to help in any way to keep the venue as safe, secure and comfortable as possible.
All shows are available to book at assemblyhalltheatre.co.uk or via Box Office on 01892 530613. You can also become a member to have early access to seats on all upcoming shows at assemblyhalltheatre.co.uk/circle
