The last two years have been rocky for all of us in one way or another, though at least for my toddler, she doesn’t really know any different. It has meant she has spent a lot more time with her immediate family and a lot less time at the baby and toddler classes and playgroups which I took her brothers along to when they were her age. But now it is her turn to try ‘all the classes’ and returning to her Mummy & Me Ballet Class has been an absolute delight!

My tiny dancer did two ballet classes before the end of the summer holidays with the lovely Miss Emma from Footsteps Dance and I knew straight away that I was going to need to sign her up for the Autumn term.

When Bloch dance-wear got into touch with us about collaborating to celebrate the return of our little ones to the magical world of dance, I was excited to see what gorgeous products they have for my little girl to wear at her ballet class and at home too. After having two boys before my daughter came along, I am going all-out with the pink!

Returning to her ballet class was everything we expected and more. It honestly melts my heart seeing the little ballerinas learning about their ‘naughty toes and good toes’ and flapping around the hall like little butterflies. Is this the beginning of a life long love of dance? We will have to see, but if it is, it is something I am definitely going to encourage!

Already I have seen my daughter grow in confidence by doing some of the dance moves on her own, while socialising with other children her age and of course moving – which we all know is good for the mind, the body and releasing those endorphins!

Thank you to Bloch for joining in the excitement with us. I think some more dance-wear and accessories will definitely going on the Christmas list. Surely she needs one in each colour?
