Leeds Castle - Winter

On each visit, we always love to visit the Knight’s Stronghold Playground, a huge new adventure playground modelled on the design of Leeds Castle. The maze is a must-do too! Once you have reached the middle, explore the underworld grotto complete with macabre forms and mythical beasts created from shells, minerals and wood.

I always love having a nosey around the gorgeous gift shop too and we usually stop at the Gatehouse to watch the film which takes viewers on a journey through over 900 years of the Castle’s history. I think we watched it four times when we were there last year as my sons were fascinated by it. We always make our way back up to the carpark via Elsie the Castle Train which takes passengers from the main entrance up to the castle or vice versa.
