Summer is well and truly over, the kids are back in school and dare I say we are getting into some kind of routine? Seven tips for visiting the Imperial War Museum Duxford with kids

♥   Have you heard of the Imperial War Museum Duxford? We visited last September and it was fascinating. It is really well spread out so I would imagine it is easy enough to adhere to social distancing. Based at a historic airfield in Cambridgeshire, IWM Duxford took around an hour and twenty minutes to get to by car from Tunbridge Wells and after a fantastic family day out, we will definitely be returning again. I can highly recommend this place – if you are thinking about going, make sure you read our 7 tips for visiting with kids.

♥ Taking place at on the Outdoor Stage at Trinity Theatre this Sunday morning (11am), Wind in the Willows is a family-friendly interactive performance shimmers with big characters and big hearts. Suitable for age 4+ tickets can be purchased HERE.

♥ I feel like I’m always banging on about walks but sometimes it is exactly what my kids need – a long long walk to ware them (and us out). Obviously the more interesting and the nicer the scenery, the better! I have over 35 recommendations for walks around Tunbridge Wells and further afield here!.

♥ The Odeon Cinema in Tunbridge Wells has several ‘Super Saver’ showings each day. This weekend’s titles are Trolls World Tour and Onward as well as The Karate Kid. Tickets are £5.75 per person.

♥ Book yourself in for PYO Tulleys Sunflowers over at Tulleys Farm! This weekend is the last chance to do this for 2020.

Did you enjoy the Eat out to Help out scheme? Some of the local pubs and restaurants are carrying on with their own unique offers this September and beyond which you can read about HERE.
