I’m Katy, an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about providing children with the support they need in a motivating and inspiring way, giving each child the opportunity to achieve their best. I currently have a few spaces available for weekly tutoring sessions this September, held at my home in Tonbridge.

I have a BA(Hons) in Sociology from Durham, PGCE, MA in Primary Education and a level 5 Diploma in Dyslexia as well as Qualified Teacher Status. Perhaps most importantly, I am a mother of a child with dyslexia and therefore I fully understand and appreciate the difficulties involved.

Whereas dyslexia is often thought of in terms of the difficulties and challenges the students face, I find it imperative to build on the strengths of each child to allow each individual to flourish.
