♥  Grab a tastecard

The tastecard offers loads of discounts on restaurants, cinemas and days out. If you’re looking for restaurant offers London, then tastecard have got you covered. There are so many different places you can use it, and there’s 2 for 1 deals and 50% off food at loads of places. At the moment a 60-day trial of the card is only £1!

We recently had a fantastic day out in London, visiting some of the free museums and finishing up with a 2 for 1 meal at Prezzo, using our tastecard. Take some time to look through the different offers and see what will suit you and your family most.

♥  Get cheap train fares

If you are going up to London, look out for cheap train tickets. Southeastern will allow up to four children (aged 5-15) to travel for £1 on a single or return journey when joined by an adult in off-peak times. National Rail also offers 2-for-1 tickets at a range of attractions including London Zoo and Chessington World of Adventures!

♥  Hit the library

We are lucky in Tunbridge Wells that we have a fab new library at The Amelia. It’s free to become a library member, and kids will love choosing a new book and checking it out on the machine. There’s also often activities going on there during the holidays for kids and there’s always an exhibition to have a look at.

The Amelia opens a little later on a Thursday evening, so if you have an older child, why not spend some time with them visiting The Amelia and having a cuppa at the fantastic cafe there?

♥  Discover one of our amazing parks in Tunbridge Wells

Again, Tunbridge Wells has loads of brilliant parks with playgrounds. The kids will love having a razz about, and might give you some peace. We find the kids are so much better after some nice fresh air – and it helps us too!

After having three kids, spending time in our local parks is the tried and tested way of culling the arguments and feeling less guilty when they have some screen-time afterwards at home. We have so many options here – now which one to choose?

♥  Do some cheap Easter crafts

At Hobbycraft and The Works there are LOADS of brilliant craft ideas, including Easter crafts to get stuck into. Most of the craft kits are fairly inexpensive, and will (hopefully) keep your kids busy for a good while. Days out are great, but so are days in.

We hope you found this post useful? Easter is a great time to unwind, enjoy some time outdoors and have the occasional treat. With some careful pre-planning and the willingness to be inventive, we know you will have fun!
