The Best Moraira Attractions
Playa de l’Ampolla
With a large free parking area, this is a great place to visit when travelling around by car. Whether you are going as a single person, a couple or a family, there is something for everyone. You can rent chairs if you want to, there’s a restaurant and beach bar to enjoy delicious food and drink and there’s even a children’s playground.
The water is lovely and clear and although the beach can get busy, it isn’t overly busy which is great!
Cap Blanc
You can drive up the coast road to the cliff top path although parking is limited so choose the time you go wisely. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the water is clean and clear. You can choose to take a walk down the slope to a path for even better views.
Javea
If you love what Moraira has to offer and have access to a car, then why not head over to another town as lovely as Moraira? Javea is a little larger and larger beaches and does get very busy but is a great place for tourists. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to check out along the beach and there is a wonderful old town that is quaint and very Spanish if that is your sort of thing!
There are three parts to Javea – the ‘old town’, the port and the beach area. Make sure to check them all out. It is just 12kms north of Moraira.
Calpe
You will definitely want to check out the Peñon de Ifach which towers over Calpe. It is known as the smaller version of the rock of Gibraltar! The beachers are lovely and sandy and the fish market is certainly worth checking out! Calpe is 12kms south of Moraira and a great place to visit.
Benissa
To visit this, you will need to drive 12kms inland but it is definitely worth it. It is an old style Spanish market town and has plenty of shops to check out. The church is a great place to visit too!
These are just a few places you should consider visiting when driving around, checking out the attractions Moraira and the Costa Blanca have to offer. Have you ever visited the area? Where would you visit first?
