As August is swiftly drawing to a close, it’s full steam ahead into Autumn and news of local Christmas festivities is trickling into the My Tunbridge Wells mailbox.
Tickets to see Father Christmas in his cosy log cabin next to Tunbridge Wells Ice Rink in the beautiful Calverley Grounds in central Tunbridge Wells have already gone on sale, with many of the popular dates selling out fast!
Father Christmas will be welcoming visitors to his cosy cabin set in the trees and snow on selected dates from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 24th December 2017 – a truly personalised family visit which includes a meeting with the friendly elves, spending a magical time talking to Father Christmas and receiving an age appropriate quality gift.
Children will also get to write a letter while waiting to see Mr Claus and included in the ticket price is a professionally mounted photograph to mark each family’s special visit – a lovely way to remember a special day.
This year, there’s also a new ‘Father Christmas’ Sleigh Photographic Opportunity available for Father Christmas visitors and ice-rink customers.
The mounted photograph, children’s gift and visit is included in the ticket price which is £14.50 for children. All adults pay £2.00 only and under 1’s go for free. Tickets can be PURCHASED HERE on the ‘Christmas in Kent’ website.
Why not make a festive family day out of it while there too, and go along to the open air ice-rink at Calverley Grounds which is back for it’s seventh successive year!?
Ice skating returns to Tunbridge Wells from Friday 17th November until Monday 1st January 2018. Tickets are on sale HERE too.
