Say Hi to your High Street this Saturday: Hawkhurst Treasure Hunt

Hawkhurst Treasure Hunt

Hawkhurst High Street Treasure Hunt taking place this Saturday, 5th June!

This is a collaborative post with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.

The next instalment in Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s ‘Say Hi to your High Street’ campaign sees us returning to Hawkhurst this Saturday! You may have seen my blog post highlighting 10 reasons to visit Hawkhurst? Well now we have an eleventh reason!

Visitors to the town this Saturday are invited to take part in a very special treasure hunt with lots of wonderful prizes on offer. Plus the monthly Hawkhurst Farmer’s Market is taking place this Saturday from 9am to 12 noon too!

What you need to do…

You’ll need to look out for the ‘Say Hi to your High Street’ logo (pictured below) hidden in a selection of shops on Hawkhurst High Street this Saturday (5th June). Then you’ll need to ask a member of staff for a letter which will make up an anagram.  There are 9 letters in total and in some cases, there may be more than one letter in each shop!

What can you win?

When you have found all of them, you can enter to win a great selection of prizes, from vouchers that can be spent at local stores, to gifts and products hand-selected by the shop owners.

You could win joint annual membership to Hawkhurst’s independent cinema, Kino, a voucher for Lindsay Barrow Designer Florist and cordless vacuum from Martin’s of Hawkhurst.

How do you enter?

Once you have found all 9 letters and figured out the anagram, share a selfie showing your haul using the hashtag #sayhihawkhurst either on Facebook, tagging @VisitTunbridgeWells, or on Instagram, tagging @tunbridgewellsvisitor.

Alternatively, you can email your photo to business@tunbridgewells.gov.uk – you will need to use this option to enter if your social media profiles are private.
