ad. Holmewood Holiday Courses are back for Summer 2026, with a packed programme of sports, creative workshops and performing arts activities for children in Tunbridge Wells now available to book.
Running since 1998, Holmewood Holiday Courses have become a much-loved part of the school holiday calendar, offering children the chance to learn new skills, stay active, make friends and have fun in a safe and inspiring environment.
Set within the stunning 32-acre grounds of Holmewood House in Langton Green, the courses make full use of the school’s exceptional facilities, including:
- A magnificent sports hall
- 25-metre swimming pool
- Jubilee Theatre
- Athletics track and all-weather astro pitch
- Tennis, netball and cricket facilities
- Fully equipped art, design technology and IT rooms
Each Easter, Summer and selected October half-term weeks, Holmewood delivers a varied programme designed to appeal to a range of interests and age groups. Children can choose from traditional sporting activities such as football, tennis, swimming and cricket, alongside creative and specialist courses including:
- LEGO Robotics
- Crocheting
- Cheerleading
- Acro and Dance
- Baking with Culinera
- Musical Theatre taught by West End professionals
With activities suitable for children aged 5 to 13, there is something for everyone, whether they enjoy sports, performing arts, technology or creative pursuits.
Courses run Monday to Friday and are led by experienced, enthusiastic instructors and assistants who are fully qualified and DBS checked, giving parents complete peace of mind.
Holmewood also offers a dedicated Play Scheme for children aged 3 to 4, based in its bright and spacious nursery, as well as Swim School courses throughout the holiday period.
Many children return year after year, building lasting friendships and enjoying familiar faces from previous courses. The welcoming atmosphere has helped make Holmewood Holiday Courses one of the area’s most popular holiday activity programmes.
Summer courses will run across six weeks from 13 July to 21 August, offering an exciting mix of active and creative opportunities throughout the school holidays.
