I hope you have had a fun weekend? With the weather still being a bit hit and miss, here are four indoor activities around Tunbridge Wells this week – 1st to 5th February 2016.
Thank you to everyone who has signed up the My Tunbridge Wells mailing list so far. If you would like to receive updates directly into your inbox, you can sign up here:
Have a great week everyone!
#1 Get stuck in at Messy Time!
Messy Time, located at 117 Camden Road in central Tunbridge Wells, is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
Activities on offer at Messy Time include painting, sticking, sparkles, stamping, colouring, cutting and a whole host of things to keep your children entertained. Children from 1 up to 11 are welcome to come along and have a go. As someone who is not particularly talented in the craft and messy play departments, this sounds like a great option for the kids to get as messy as they like! Visit the Messy Time Facebook page HERE and website HERE for more information.
#2 What About The Kids Supper Club – Thursday 4th February
This is a fantastic venue with a private room, private entrance and use of the terrace if the weather is kind. There is also plenty of parking there too. The usual dressing up, toys and activities with a special kids menu and glass of wine or coffee for Mum is available!
#3 Parent & toddler sessions at Gravity Trampoline Park!
GRAVITY® in Maidstone is running special parent and toddler sessions in the main court on the following weekdays – Mondays and Friday at 1pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 10am. The sessions are £5 each (parents have to pay £5 too) plus an additional £1 for special socks (needed for both the parent and toddler). A free hot drink is included in the price.
GRAVITY® Trampoline Parks are y wall-to-wall trampolines which are connected together to form a huge open play area. These amazing open expanses of bounceable space are used for a variety of activities i for all ages. I haven’t been there yet but a few people have recommended it! If you go along, I would love to hear how you get on? Find out more on the Gravity website HERE. Bookings for the toddler sessions need to be made over the phone or you can just turn up on the day (and hope that there will be space).
#4 Harry Potter Book Night – Thursday 4th February
I know this event is for slightly older children but as a Harry Potter fan (and probably because I have a son called Harry too) I was very excited to hear about the Harry Potter evening at Waterstones Tunbridge Wells this Thursday.
Waterstones will be hosting a whole evening of exciting activities including a wand making workshop, a Hogwarts quiz, a fancy dress competiton and a range of games and puzzles with a whole host of wizarding prizes on offer. The event is taking place from 5 to 8pm – more information can be found HERE.
