As someone who really dislikes staying at home all day (can’t you tell!?), I love discovering indoor activities near Tunbridge Wells to keep the children occupied no matter what the weather is like!
If you haven’t been to Larkfield Leisure Centre before, then it is definitely worth checking out.
Larkfield is about a 30 minute drive from Tunbridge Wells and has some excellent sports facilities. However the main reason we visit the leisure centre is for the leisure pool! It includes waves, water cannons, lazy river rapids, a slipstream 60m waterslide and a revolutionary space bowl which carries swimmers into a giant whirlpool before suddenly dropping them into a plunge pool!
There is also a 25 metre fitness pool with splasharound sessions and lots of toys for kids taking place from 3-4pm and 4-5pm on Saturdays and 10-11am on Sundays. Click on this link for further information on this indoor activity near Tunbridge Wells.
Larkfield Leisure Centre also has a softplay zone called ‘Larkabout’ with three floors of interactive play equipment, slides, crawl tubes and ball pools. Suitable for children up to (and including) 10 years, this popular soft play area offers at least 90 minutes of play with no restrictions during off peak times.
