Say Hi to your High Street: Paddock Wood Treasure Hunt this Weekend

Paddock Wood Treasure Hunt taking place this Saturday 29th May!

This is a collaborative post with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.

I have loved discovering everything that Paddock Wood, Hawkhurst, Southborough and Cranbrook have to offer over the last month, in collaboration with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council on their ‘Say Hi to your High Street’ campaign.

Visiting different shops and little gems, some of which I previously didn’t know about, as well as dropping into old favourites and new places that have popped up over the last few months has been an absolute pleasure.

Now it’s time for a little fun!

Paddock Wood will be the first of our local high streets to host a Treasure Hunt, encouraging residents and visitors to find clues hidden by participating businesses. Taking place this coming weekend on Saturday 29th May, find out more about it below…

What can you win?

Once all the clues have been discovered, treasure seekers can enter to win a great selection of prizes! Including vouchers that can be spent at local stores, as well as gifts and products hand-selected by the shop owners.

Do you like the sound of winning a luxury delicatessen hamper from The Kings of Fine Food worth up to £50? Or how about a personalised light from Snobs Gifts?  I would be delighted with a voucher for Barsleys Department Store too, as well as entry for four people to The Hop Farm.

How to find the clues?

You’ll need to look out for the ‘Say Hi to your High Street’ logo (pictured below) hidden in a selection of shops on Paddock Wood High Street this Saturday (29th May). Then you’ll need to ask a member of staff for a letter which will make up an anagram.  There are 11 letters in total and in some cases, there may be more than one letter in each shop!

How do you enter?

Once you have found all 11 letters and figured out the anagram, share a selfie showing your haul using the hashtag #sayhipaddockwood either on Facebook, tagging @VisitTunbridgeWells, or on Instagram, tagging @tunbridgewellsvisitor.

Alternatively, you can email your photo to business@tunbridgewells.gov.uk – you will need to use this option to enter if your social media profiles are private.
