I love hearing about toddler walks near Tunbridge Wells as they are free, healthy and a lovely way to spend an afternoon….
One of my favourite toddler walks near Tunbridge Wells is at the lovely Pepenbury in Pembury, just a few minutes outside the town. When my eldest child was just a few months old, we visited it with friends and I was really impressed with the set-up of this very special place.
Three years on, this family friendly walk is even better than I remember, with a beautiful picnic area, wooden hut & maize and playground that my three-year-old really enjoyed.

The walk is around a mile and a half long and is buggy friendly so perfect for spending a morning or afternoon discovering the great outdoors with babies, toddlers and older children too. Some parts of the forest towards the back of the woods can be a little muddy, but we managed to avoid the muck in most places. There is a also a coffee shop and small animal farm to enjoy during your visit too!
