PJ Masks have been a recent addition to the short list of TV programmes which my three year old loves. He prefers quality over quantity and enjoys watching both the TV series and YouTube videos of other people playing with PJ Masks figures and toys. So when we got the opportunity to review Romeo’s Lab Playset, I had high hopes for this toy.
Keep on reading to find out what we thought of it and to enter a competition to win a PJ Masks collectible figure 5 pack!
WHAT IS IT?
Suitable for children age 3+, Romeo’s lab can really roll and opens to reveal a secret lair with two levels of play!
The playset features a light and sound control panel, working crane, laser launcher, and rolling lab charger. Romeo can use the control panel to plot his mad-scientist schemes and then shoot his laser launcher when the PJ Masks come to stop him.
The playset also comes with one Romeo figure, one Romeo’s Robot figure and three bonus tools. When it’s time to move on to the next villainous adventure, kids can transform the playset into Romeo’s mobile lab and take the mischief on the go.
WHAT DID WE LIKE?
♥ My boys had great fun pushing the lab around our house and garden. It’s a decent size – not too big that it takes up loads of space but large enough for them to push around. A sturdy toy in my opinion!
♥ The crane seemed to be my youngest boy’s favourite element on the toy – he had been picking up all sorts of things with it and is desperate to get some more PJ Masks characters and vehicles so he can do the same!
♥ The light and sound control panel is actually pretty impressive and another highlight of the toy – very clear and a good variation of sounds. It takes x2 AA batteries, though we haven’t had to replace the ones that came with it as yet.
♥ My boys also really liked the laser launcher. It’s a pretty simple thing but they liked taking turns (when they were on best behaviour) shooting lasers around the house.
♥ Overall, I think it’s a good quality toy with lots of little extra features to keep the boys interested in it.
