Local Prep School Rose Hill School has recently received a glowing report across all areas from the Independent Schools Inspectorate. Inspectors judged the school to be ‘excellent’ and stated that in “all groups pupils make rapid progress from their various starting points.”

Rose Hill School is a non-selective independent school for girls and boys aged 3-13. Set in 15 acres of grass and woodland, the school has countryside on its doorstep and yet Tunbridge Wells town centre is just five minutes away. Children join Kindergarten the September after their third birthday.
Kindergarten pupils have a superbly enriched learning experience. Inspectors observed that ‘pupils’ creativity is highly developed from an early age.’ Bespoke individual care and a plethora of learning opportunities include weekly forest school, PE and swimming lessons, Music, French and Spanish, IT, yoga and mindfulness.

The inspection team highlighted the fact that “pupils’ self-confidence benefits from the school’s initiative to furnish them with the five key attributes to achieve success in life” and “This is because leaders and governors have embedded successfully a school ethos that embraces and promotes important values and standards.” Pupils’ wellbeing and happiness is at the core of what the school delivers.
