Rose Hill School is thrilled to recruit the next cohort of Rosebuds, the school’s preschool playgroup designed to spark imagination and foster early childhood development. This free term time playgroup which will recommence in early September, is open to children aged 2 and above. Offering a rich array of activities and a supportive environment, younger siblings are also very welcome to attend.
Led by Victoria Robinson, Head of Early Years at Rose Hill School, Rosebuds takes place every Wednesday during term time. Two sessions are available: 9:30am and 10:45am, ensuring flexibility and convenience for parents and their little ones.
Nestled in a light and airy classroom, Rosebuds provides a haven for children to explore and engage in a variety of play experiences. From an abundance of toys to exciting crafting activities, the playgroup offers endless opportunities for creativity and self-expression. Furthermore, a secure outdoor area awaits, inviting children to revel in the joys of water play and other thrilling adventures carefully prepared each week. The sessions culminate with a delightful singalong, fostering a love for music and a sense of camaraderie among participants.
When the weather allows it, Rosebuds participants will embark on exciting journeys through the school grounds. From the mud kitchen to the expansive 15-acre grounds, children will engage with nature, expand their horizons, and cultivate a sense of wonder. To add to the excitement, Rosebuds has plans for an Easter egg hunt, a charming teddy bear’s picnic, and a thrilling bear hunt through the school woods, creating lasting memories for all.
Beyond providing a nurturing space for children, Rosebuds serves as a fantastic opportunity for parents to connect and build relationships with others. The playgroup fosters a welcoming environment where parents and caregivers can share experiences and support one another. Healthy snacks and refreshments are provided.
