Amazon Adventure_Drusillas Park_Minor Mania

♥ Amazon Adventure, Tunbridge Wells

Soft Play in Kent

♥  Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre

Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre soft play is an ‘adventure zone with no time restrictions’! The soft play offers children from 0-8, the chance to let off steam, climb, jump, run and slide in safety in a brand new two level soft play centre.

There is a dedicated area for babies (under 2) and lots of seats for grown-ups. There are vending machines in the seating area with hot drinks, snacks and cold drinks, or you can pop down to the cafe and get something there to take up.

♥ Tigers Gymnastics Inflata-play sessions

In High Brooms at Tigers Gymnastics, there’s drop-in inflata-play sessions every Friday (11am to 1pm) during term-time – for ages 1-12. They get all their inflatables (read: bouncy castles) out and transform the gym into a huge bouncy wonderland. Sessions are just £10. Free entry for additional adults & newborns

♥  Claudia’s Place (at Oakley Fitness)

Claudia’s is a fab little soft play facility with cafe, located on the ground floor of Oakley Fitness in the heart of Tunbridge Wells (nearest carpark is the one above The Range). It is probably more suited to younger kids – from tiny tots to age 3/4 in my opinion. The coffee is most definitely good and Claudia is very welcoming.

Kent Life Heritage Farm and Park

♥  Bewl Water

The Bewl Water soft play is a hidden gem! It never seems to be too busy and you can combine it with a little walk down to the lake and a play on the outdoor equipment too if you wish. I think it is probably suited for fairly young children as it’s not particularly big. Please note –  for visiting the Bewl Water soft play, you’ll need to pay for parking as well as entry. Worth the journey for a change?

♥ Barney’s Play, Uckfield

We hear rave reviews of Barney’s Play over in Uckfield. There’s an indoor play area and a small roleplay village that preschoolers love. They also run LED play sessions, baby sensory sessions, SEN sessions and messy play. Booking in advance is highly recommended.

♥ Playworld at Royal Victoria Place

Located in the heart of Tunbridge Wells at Royal Victoria Place, Playworld is a free children’s soft play area located in the basement in the foodhall.

Parents and carers are welcome to take their children to Playworld during the centre’s opening hours. Children must be under 100cm and always accompanied and supervised by an adult.

♥ The Dove’s PlayBarn, Uckfield

Also in Uckfield, The Dove’s Play Barn is as peaceful a soft play as you could hope. It’s all made from natural wood and natural curves. Expect hidden spaces, rope bridges and a dedicated toddler area. There are even ride-ons. Recently they’ve opened an inflatable course, too. It’s all situated next to Lachett’s Ice Cream farm, so you can pick up dessert on the way home.

♥ Kent Life, Maidstone

Have you visited Kent Life in Maidstone? There’s an indoor soft play barn at this fantastic farm – as well as the traditional farm animals, Cuddle Corner, Paint a Pot studios, tractor rides and much more! Plus visit the vintage village while you are there too.

♥ Blackberry Farm, near Lewes

As well as being a fantastic farm with several outdoor play areas and tractor rides, Clucky’s indoor play barn at Blackberry Farm has slides, ball bogglers and cannons as well as a  ‘sensory stars’ area.

♥ Adventure Kidz, Aylesford

Adventure Kidz is packed with things kids love: baby and toddler play, sensory spaces, quad bike indoor track, indoor high ropes and even make-a-bear. The good news is they’re open seven days a week!
