Tunbridge Wells is lucky enough to be home to some fantastic independent businesses, including the brilliant Zero Waste Company shop and café on The Pantiles. This plastic free venue is a treasure trove of ethically sourced goods that are gorgeous and kind to the environment as well as having the most charming cafe in a wonderful location.

What’s happening this Spring?

This Spring, The Zero Waste Company have a range of events, offers and a brand new concept called ‘The Ethical Emporium’ which sound fantastic. This will definitely have us popping into the shop even more throughout the coming months.

Holly and Lottie, the brains behind The Zero Waste Company, have recently expanded their cafe space, making more room for seating. The cafe produces absolutely delicious food with a commitment to use as much food that would have otherwise been wasted.

As well as cakes and pastries, Zero Waste offer breakfasts and lunches, and now they’re launching a children’s menu. This includes a Goldilocks porridge, sandwiches and of course, their amazing ice creams!

And if you have a child or two with you, they also offer a FREE kids’ hot chocolate with any adult’s hot drink, which we think is a fantastic offer. We’ll definitely be taking advantage of that one.

What’s On at The Zero Waste Company?

There’s also some fantastic events at Zero Waste, including a workshop called The Strong Female Lead – True Confidence Edition on Friday 25th March. This will show you how to get the ultimate glow up from experts with Charlotte Tilbury makeup.

There’s also a Mother’s Day afternoon tea on Sunday 27th March and a children’s tea party on Thursday 14th April, that’s organised in conjunction with Once Upon A Wish events – rumour has it a princess will be attending!

Ethical Emporium incoming…

The Zero Waste Company are also launching their Ethical Emporium this Spring. This will see them stocking popular products from designer-makers, creatives and local businesses on their shelves.
