So the question this week is – have you got your Christmas decorations up yet? Yes, I know it is still November (just), but a few twinkly lights and the odd santa have started to appear around our neighbourhood and it is getting me into the Christmas spirit. With baby number three due very soon too, I’m keen to get the decorations up sooner rather than later! If you are looking for a nice way to ease yourself into the festive season, I have just the event for you!

The Thrive: Winter Wellbeing takes place on Saturday 1st December in the beautiful 17th century barn at The Plough, in Leigh, near Tonbridge. Split into morning and afternoon sessions the event is a combination of luxury Christmas wreath making and wellbeing talks. It has been put together by the team who brought us Thrive: Discovery Weekend and is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit whilst also taking some time to focus on your own wellbeing – which I think is particularly important at this time of year.

Tickets are only £40 each and include;
1: Luxury Christmas wreath making tutorial (plus all materials) from local florist Sophie Cashmere
2: An expert talk from either Sophie Pattihis of the The Feeling Way who will be talking about Seasonal Eating and how you avoid those winter blues by what you eat, or Lucy Duggal of Eat Up who will be sharing top tips to keep you healthier this winter.
3: Plus free tea or coffee and a mince pie

But if you fancy being even more indulgent there will also be a one hour candle making class with Gatehouse Candles (for £15, which includes a candle to take home) and mini spa treatments for £10 each (bookable on the day) plus a selection of seasonal gifts to shop. Mulled wine and other drinks will also be available to purchase at the bar.
