Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel
Brighton is one of my favourite places to go for a night away, that’s really not far from Tunbridge Wells. The Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel has been newly refurbished with gorgeous sea views. It is only a stone’s throw from the British Airways i360 as well as The Lanes, Brighton Sea Life Centre and of course the infamous Brighton Pier. The shops in Brighton are fantastic too or enjoy a drink by the beach, looking out to sea. Bliss!
Mercure Winchester Wessex Hotel

The Mercure Winchester Wessex Hotel is the perfect base for exploring this historic city. Enjoy an array of independent shops and eateries nearby and in winter, make sure you explore the Christmas Markets too.
Mercure Sheffield Kenwood Hall Hotel & Spa
Located on 12 acres of beautiful garden and lake views, The Mercure Kenwood Hall Hotel in Sheffield is just a 10 minute drive from Sheffield City centre. I couldn’t write this blog post without including the terrific Mercure Tunbridge Wells Hotel! If you live in Tunbridge Wells, then visiting friends or family will no doubt enjoy staying at the Mercure Tunbridge Wells, which includes complimentary use of the spa facilities and swimming pool. The hotel itself is located three miles from Tunbridge Wells town centre, with great access to nearby Tonbridge and Sevenoaks too. The hotel is located in an 18th century Georgian oast house in the Kent countryside and three of my favourite places to visit if you are staying there include: Hever Castle & Gardens, Penshurst Place & Gardens and the glorious Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. Who doesn’t love a mini-break in London? The Mercure London Bloomsbury is the perfect base for exploring this amazing city. This is a stylish boutique hotel ideal for a four star city break. Holborn and Russell Square Tube Stations are very close by. Visit some fascinating London attractions while there including The British Museum and Covent Garden. It has been a long time since I have been to Manchester but I have such fond memories of visiting this city as a child. The Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel is one of the most central city hotels with stunning city views and an enviable panoramic view! This hotel is right in the heart of the city and can be reached easily from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station. Remember to visit over Piccadilly Gardens while there for a selection of music and cultural events during the year.

I have visited Edinburgh countless times since a close friend moved there when we were teenagers and wandering down Princes Street is one of my favourite things to do. The Mercure Edinburgh City – Princes Street Hotel is not only great value but it’s location is completely spot-on too. Overlooking the iconic Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town this stylish and newly refurbished 3 star hotel in Edinburgh is only 200 metres from Waverley train station and 6 miles from Edinburgh Airport.
Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel
