I was lucky enough to win a half-term of Puddle Ducks Tunbridge Wells baby swimming classes in a raffle at a fundraising event for a charity dear to my heart – Bertie’s Battle.
From the moment I got in touch with Puddle Ducks to book Ben in for a suitable baby swimming class, the Tunbridge Wells team have been incredibly friendly and efficient. Holly was able to offer me various different times and venues and we decided to attend the Saturday class at the Bowles Activity Centre in Eridge, close to Tunbridge Wells.
Puddle Ducks operates a double nappy system – children who aren’t fully potty trained need to wear a disposable swim nappy and a neoprene over nappy over the top. I was able to dig out a swim nappy but couldn’t find a neoprene over nappy – however Puddle Ducks let me borrow one for the first Tunbridge Wells baby swimming class and I will purchase one at next week’s session. It’s reassuring to know that any little accidents from either my child or other children should be contained!
Tunbridge Wells baby swimming classes – perfect for bonding with your baby!
On arrival at the Bowles Activity Centre, we were really impressed with the setting – more on this next time! My fiancé and three year old came along too and enjoyed a walk around the grounds while Ben and I had our lesson.
The lovely Verity from Puddle Ducks was there to greet us at the entrance to the pool and was really helpful with letting us know where we needed to go and what to expect from the Tunbridge Wells baby swimming class.
The class itself was fantastic – it was a really good bonding session with my youngest son and it really lifted my mood after a slightly stressful morning (just the usual stress from having a 5 month old and 3 year old!). I am really looking forward to next week’s Tunbridge Wells baby swimming class and will be writing a post with more information on what happens during a typical class. Thank you Puddle Ducks for giving me this great opportunity to spend some quality time with my littlest boy 🙂
