I hope you have had a lovely weekend?! Here are four Tunbridge Wells children’s activities to try, including my all-time favourite musical, Annie, which is coming the Assembly Hall this Tuesday!!

#1 Annie @ The Assembly Hall Theatre, Tuesday 1st to Saturday 5th March
Annie, my absolute favourite musical is comes to the Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells this week. Starring starring Birds of a Feather star, Lesley Joseph as the tyrannical Miss Hannigan, Annie is set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression. Follow brave young orphan Annie as she tries to find her real parents!
#2 ‘Mum and Baby’ Postnatal Fitness @ the Angel Centre – Thursdays
The Angel Centre in Tonbridge is running a postnatal Mum and Baby Fitness class every Thursday from 10.45-11.45am. It’s suitable for children from 6 weeks to toddler age to come along with their Mums and is roughly structured into a 30 minute buggy workout followed by 30 minutes of core work, strengthening, toning and stretching.
I am told this is a very friendly and relaxed class. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace so all fitness levels are welcome. Booking is advised for these pay as you go classes. You can book by calling The Angel Centre on 01732 359966 or visit the website HERE for more info. Classes are £5.40 for members / £7.20 for non members.
Two more Tunbridge Wells children’s activities…….
#3 New Jo Jingles Class @ Nuffield Gym – ThursdaysJo Jingles is launching a new class at the Nuffield Gym in Tunbridge Wells. The first 3 classes are £10 for new customers to Jo Jingles. There are places available in the class for children over 12 months old at 11.45am and the under 1’s at 12.30pm.
Messy Time on Camden Road in Tunbridge Wells, is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Activities on offer include painting, sticking, sparkles, stamping, colouring, cutting and a whole host of things to keep your children entertained.
For children aged 1-11 years old, this sounds like a great option for the kids to get as messy as they like, in the comfort of someone else’s place! Booking is advised, but not essential. Visit the Messy Time Facebook page HERE and website HERE for further information. Please note – Messy Time is due to close in April unless they get more bookings soon. I will update this site, depending on the outcome…
