The weekday blog posts are back too and we are bursting with excitement to share all of our suggestions for classes, clubs, playgroups, new cafes, shops and restaurants, events and so much more! For this week, we are going to start with 6 weekday activities to try around Tunbridge Wells from 6th to 10th September 2021:
Ready Steady Sport
Ready Steady Sport classes are all about giving pre-schoolers an introduction to sport in a fun and safe environment. Each session contains lots of catching, throwing, bouncing and kicking exercises to keep the youngsters fully engaged and focused. My son really enjoyed these as a preschooler and I loved watching him take part. With classes around Tunbridge Wells on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, find the full timetable at www.readysteadysport.com or contact Toby on email@example.com for more info.
Cascade Dance Classes

Children’s and teen sessions take place on Thursdays & Saturdays at Oakley Fitness as well as new classes for preschoolers in the Camden Centre on Monday afternoons. Toddlers and Toys is a brand new class starting this week at Pembury Village Hall on Tuesdays. Offering at least 10 different play activity areas in each class which change each week, the six week courses ensure there’s a variety of activities to explore each time. Kids & Teen Yoga Classes with Banana Studio Yoga
Starting this Thursday at The Inside cafe in Calverley Grounds, there are just a couples of spaces left in Banana Studio Yoga’s much loved classes led by the lovely Joanna. Helping to enhance dexterity, build confidence, support social skills and empower through dance, movement, role play and mindfulness, each six week course costs £57 per person. The kids sessions are from 5-6pm while the youth yoga is from 6.7pm. Email email@example.com for more info or to book.
Have you ever thought of trying women’s rugby? TWRFC ladies team are welcoming new players and are hosting a special event this Wednesday at 7pm for ladies to come down and try it. This is a no contact version which promises to be great for fitness and fun. Fancy giving it a try? Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
If you have a spare few hours with your pre-schooler why not take them to one of the nearby Little Streets, for some educational fun at these alternatives to soft play? These scaled down versions of typical towns, have inspirational role play areas with props and dressing up; such as cafes, fire stations, doctors, constructions sites, supermarkets and roads. We recently went to the Sevenoaks branch and my two year old loved it!
Coffee at Kingdom!
If you have the chance to take some time out of your busy schedule and meet a friend for coffee then I can highly recommend the gorgeous Kingdom in Penshurst which is such a rustic and tranquil place to visit. High up on the hill in Penshurst, you can stroll around the grounds or simply sit and chat while enjoying some delicious refreshments. Open daily from 9am to 3pm.
