Step into a magical Christmas adventure at Penshurst Place this December, as its popular Christmas Mini Panto and Father Christmas experience returns with a brand-new festive story, The Christmas Cavity Calamity!
Families will begin their adventure with an enchanting journey through a twinkling North Pole, complete with candlelit Christmas trees, elves, presents and the magical glow of the Northern Lights.
From there, step into a colourful Candyland filled with giant sweets, candy canes and an enormous gingerbread house, where a lively 25-minute Mini Panto awaits!
This year’s story sees Mother Christmas facing a festive disaster after her evil twin sister steals every toothbrush and tube of toothpaste in the land. Her dastardly plan? To encourage children to eat as many sweets as possible and cause a Christmas Cavity Calamity!
With the help of Father Christmas, a cheeky Christmas elf and Gerald the reindeer, can Mother Christmas save the day?
Expect plenty of laughs, colourful characters and audience participation, followed by the chance to meet Father Christmas himself and take a festive photograph.
There will also be two reduced-capacity quiet performances on 6 and 12 December, offering a lower-sensory experience for families who prefer a calmer environment.
While visiting, families can enjoy festive treats at the Porcupine Pantry Café and browse the beautifully decorated Christmas Gift Shop for gifts, decorations and seasonal goodies.
Performance Dates:
- Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 December
- Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 December
- Friday 18 – Wednesday 23 December
- Quiet performances: 6 & 12 December
Tickets cost £9.50 per person, with advance booking recommended as popular performances often sell out.
Please note that Mini Panto tickets do not include access to the House and Gardens, which will be closed for winter. The Porcupine Pantry and Christmas Gift Shop remain open and are free to access.
