No one likes to think of their child in an emergency situation, but learning basic first aid could make all the difference in a medical emergency.
Daisy First Aid’s two-hour Baby & Child first aid class is specifically designed to give parents, grandparents, baby sitters and carers of children the skills and confidence you need to deal with the most common accidents and emergencies, and to save lives.
Taking place on Saturday 16th November at 1.30pm in The Hub at Grosvenor & Hilbert Park , the class covers the following:
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Recovery Positions
- Shock
- Resuscitation & CPR
- Choking
- Head Injuries
- Seizures
- Bleeding
- Burns
- Fractures
- Anaphylaxis
- Meningitis
- Sepsis
- Other Childhood Conditions
The best learning happens in a fun and relaxed environment and so there are no distressing stories or videos but plenty of opportunities to get involved and ask questions so that everyone leaves confident to deal with any oopsie daisy moments that may come along!
It’s £25 per person and pre-booking is essential. Babies under 12 months are more than welcome to come too. Please contact tunbridegwells@daisyfirstaid.com for more information. Places can be booked HERE.
