Situated in Mayfield, East Sussex and set in 22 acres of idyllic countryside, Skippers Hill Manor Preparatory School is a family-run co-educational independent day school for children aged two to thirteen.

At Skippers, we cherish individuality. We are committed to providing each and every pupil with a stimulating and supportive learning environment which celebrates their unique character and capabilities, allows them to be themselves and enables them to achieve to the best of their ability.

We pride ourselves on the warm and harmonious family atmosphere at our school, where strong and lifelong friendships are formed.

We are very proud of our academic results and offer comprehensive Senior School preparation as well as support and advice to pupils and parents to ensure a smooth transition to their chosen Senior School.

Over the past 20 years, we have achieved a 100% success rate at Common Entrance, with many pupils awarded scholarships and every pupil gaining a place at the school of their choice. We have available scholarships for September 2020 for entry at Year 7 so please enquire at the next Open Day or with the School Office about further details.
