Families considering Reception places for September 2026 are invited to a free Teddy Bears’ Picnic Reception Taster Session at The Mead School on Monday 8 June.

Children are encouraged to bring their favourite teddy and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon designed to give families a taste of Reception life. Activities include an interactive music lesson with the Head of Music, a picnic snack box to enjoy with their teddy, and a lively introduction to French with Madame Sinead.

This special event offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the school’s nurturing Reception environment, meet staff and experience first-hand what makes The Mead School such a happy and high-achieving place to learn. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
