It’s that time of year again and lambing season 2020 is upon us. If you are wondering where to see lambing in Kent and East Sussex then you are in the right place! We have included 8 options for you to choose from below…

Please note – pregnant women are advised not to attend lambing events. Please also note, the different lambing days are listed below chronologically. We will update this post regularly to confirm which events are / aren’t going ahead due to Covid 19…
♥ Tottingworth Farm: Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th March
See the newborn lambs and calves with plenty of other things to entertain you such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Bouncy Castle and farm shop and cafe. Entry is free! Find out more on the Tottingworth Farm Facebook page.
♥ High Weald Academy Lambing Weekend – Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March
NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!! The High Weald Academy’s annual lambing weekend in Cranbrook (TN17 2PJ) is taking place on Saturday 21st and Sunday the 22nd of March. There isn’t any further information at present but keep your eye on the High Weald Facebook page to find out more. NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!!
♥ Lambing Day at Tablehurst Farm – Saturday 21st March & Saturday 28th March
Tablehurst Community Farm in Forest Row, East Sussex (RH18 5DP) is holding another amazing lambing event on Saturday 30th March and Saturday 6th April from 11am to 4pm. The lambing days at Tablehurst farm aim to provide a simple and authentic encounter and as well as the chance to visit the ewes and their lambs in the barn, there will be a variety of activities for children, live music, and plenty of food and drink to keep you well-fuelled all day. The farm shop will also be open throughout the day. There is no charge for entry. You can find out more on their Facebook page here.
♥ Saddlescombe Farm – Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March, Saturday 4th April and Sunday 5th April
Saddlescombe Farm Brighton (BN45 7DB), is a little further afield but worth it to see the farm operating at it’s busiest time of year. As well as being able to see the pigs, do a spot of bale climbing, take a ride on a tractor or trailer (weather depending) and enjoy a BBQ.

♥ Spring Lambing at Middle Farm – Wednesday 1st to Thursday 30th April
Spring Lambing returns to Middle Farm in West Firle, near Lewes (BN8 6LJ). The Middle Farm Lambing Event will be on every day between Wednesday 1 April 2020 to Thursday 30 April 2020 inclusive. The cost per person is £6.50, but under 3s are free. Carers are also free. You can bottle feed a lamb at either a morning or an afternoon session and also enjoy other activities such as small animal handling, pig feeding and a scavenger hunt throughout the day. ♥ Lambing Day at Four Winds Farm, Bidborough – Saturday 4th April
NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!! Four Winds Farm(TN3 0LL) in Bidborough, Tunbridge Wells is hosting their annual lambing day for 2020 on Saturday 4th April from 11am to 4pm – always a favourite day out for us! Visitors can see newborn lambs, sheep shearing demonstrations, sheepdog displays and even enjoy a trailer ride. There will be lots of fun activities, crafts and face painting plus local producers and food stalls. NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!!
Entry for children age 2-16 is £4, over 16’s enter for £6 in advance and £7 on the gate. Family (2 Adults & 2 Children) costs £18 on the gate or £16 in advance. Please wear wellies!
