♥ The Pantiles market is back this weekend, with local produce, tasty treats antiques and artisan crafts. Or grab a take out coffee from one of the many cafes, for a stroll through The Common up to the rocks. Always a winner!
♥ In around 1 hour’s drive, you can be at the magnificent Hampton Court Palace. Once there the children will come face-to-face with mysterious mythical beasts, storm the battlements, besiege the towers and explore the secret grotto in the Magic Garden children’s playground. The kids will love the sand, water, AstroTurf and range of play equipment – in fact it’s so good you may need to queue for entry at busy times. There’s lots more to see and do, exploring the home of Henry VIII and 60 acres of formal gardens, with maze. At weekends you can also Meet the Tudors, and discover the roles that helped the palace run and hear their stories.
